1. In order to invest your funds with the Defense Investor portfolio you must have an account with eToro. 

2. Joining eToro is quite easy. To do so please visit their website at this link.

3. Once your eToro account is set up you will need to upload to their website some supporting documents to confirm your identity and verify your account.

4. Once your account has been set up you can use the 'Deposit Funds' button to add funds to your trading account. 

5. When your funds have been added you can visit my eToro investment profile at this link. To invest click 'Copy'.

6. I recommend that when you copy my portfolio you set stop loss to 75%.

Your investment horizon is unique to you depending on your circumstances. I am a long term investor and do not see value in only investing in an asset for a short period of time. I have made a post regarding this and managing risk which you can find in the my Key Posts page.

I recommend that you copy my portfolio for at least one year, ideally longer. My recommendation is that you should be prepared to copy for 5 years to get the best possible outcome.

I am a long term investor and have chosen the companies in the portfolio because overall they have offered an outstanding return over the past ten years. 

The purpose of the portfolio is to help you increase your capital value. It is not designed to pay a regular income.

My target growth per annum is c.15% and to beat the S&P 500 by 5%. Of course I would not expect a 15% return every year. It is also possible due to general market conditions that there will be a negative return some years. Please read my post on managing risk on the Key Posts page.

No. 

I do not charge any fee and no part of your investment goes to me. 

When you invest with eToro and purchase any asset they will charge you a small fee for any trading. This fee will be 0.29% of the copy amount, with no ongoing management charges. The only fees after the initial fee wil be very small fees when I open or close trades.

eToro pay some of their Popular Investors based on the number of copiers and assets under copy. 

I occasionally will add additional funds to the portfolio to take advantage of opportunities in the market, to continue to build a long term position.

If you choose to add funds to match exactly what I have 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗱 and it will suggest an amount you could add. 𝙄𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙙𝙙 𝙛𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙨 - you will continue to copy what is in the portfolio as it now stands.

Maximum eToro will allow a person to invest with one trader is $2,000,000
